What to sow in August
August is the forgotten sowing month. While the summer harvest comes in, this is exactly the moment to sow again: spinach, rocket, radish and lettuce grow faster in the cooler late summer and taste milder than their midsummer versions. Sow in the second half of the month, once the worst heat has passed.
Start indoors
Sow outdoors
