What to sow in March
March is the busiest month of the year. Indoors you start everything that needs warmth — tomatoes first — and outdoors the first cool-season crops can go in as soon as the compost has dried out. It is also the month where impatience costs most: a tomato put outside now loses weeks against one that goes out in May.
